Lezzet

Lezzet

Lezzet is a modern space with Turkish village flavours and all the attributes of an Ankaran home.

An expansive ‘glassed’ sidewalk space, over looks the tree lined Brighton Road and the main dining area indoors is all about mood lighting, authentic Turkish ornaments and walls draped with beautiful hand woven, heirloom rugs from Ankara in the Bey Pazari region of Turkey.

The menu is all about the food of the ancient Ottoman imperial kitchens with the youthful innovation of chef and host, Kemal Barut.

Lezzet is true to its origins while exploring modern flavours, garnishes and presentation styles. Authentic wood fire roasted spice blends are the base of every dish. Turkish breads with anchovies are a great start to any meal and the renowned 18 hour Anatolian lamb is a feature.

Turkish style Mediterranean ‘pizza’, mezze boards with tiny claypots, 12 spice calamari, Mongolian chicken with dukka, Ottoman lamb with eggplant and a multi flavoured ‘grill’ platter are all favourites and Kemal can match them all to his favourite local wines.

The most stunning desserts make a perfect end to the meal – try the dessert platter, a selection of Kemal's favourites.

The entire menu is also available for taking home to enjoy with a bottle of wine. Afiyet Olsun!!!!
